  • Installing Los Lo-Fi Drums is quick and easy using Native Access:

    1. Open Native Access: Launch the Native Access application on your computer. If you don't have it, download it from the Native Instruments website.

    2. Log In: Sign in to your Native Instruments account using your email and password.

    3. Locate Los Lo-Fi Drums: Once logged in, Los Lo-Fi Drums will appear in the "Not Installed" tab. If it's a new purchase, locate the + Add Serial option and enter the serial number we sent you via email. If it is a free product, it will appear automatically.

    4. Click "Install": Simply click the "Install" button next to Los Lo-Fi Drums.

    5. Choose Installation Location (Optional): If prompted, select the desired location on your computer where you want to install the instrument.

    6. Wait for Installation: Native Access will download and install LLFD automatically. This may take some time depending on your internet connection.

    7. Open Kontakt (or Kontakt Player): After the installation is complete, open either the full version of Kontakt or the free Kontakt Player.

    8. Locate LLFD in the Library Tab: Los Lo-Fi Drums will now appear in the library tab of Kontakt (or Kontakt Player). Simply double-click it to load.

    9. Begin Creating: You're ready to start using LLFD in your music production!

  • To ensure the best performance, Los Lo-Fi Drums (LLFD) requires:

    • Kontakt Version:
      Compatible with Kontakt Player 8 and Kontakt version 8).

    • Disk Space:
      Approximately 2 GB of free disk space for installation.

    A: Absolutely! All loops, kits, and sounds included in Los Lo-Fi Drums are fully licensed for commercial use, so you can use them in your tracks, scores, or productions without worry. Read more about our End User License Agreement here.

    Q: Can I use LLFD in commercial projects?
    A: Yes, you are licensed to use LLFD in commercial works, including films, TV, video games, and music productions. However, you may not sell, share, or redistribute the individual loops or one-shot samples in their original form.

    Q: Can I install LLFD on multiple devices?
    A: Generally, Native Instruments licenses allow installation on two computers. KOMPLETE and MASCHINE products allow installation on up to three computers. Please note that you can only use the software on one computer at a time.

    Q: Are updates included with my purchase?
    A: Yes, any updates to LLFD are free for all existing users.

    Q: Is LLFD compatible with my DAW?
    A: Yes, LLFD works with all major DAWs that support Kontakt as a plugin, including Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Digital Performer, and many more.

    A: Yes, all audio loops in LLFD are tempo-synced to your DAW, ensuring seamless integration into your project’s tempo.

    A: Yes, once LLFD is downloaded and activated, you can use it offline without any issues.

    Q: What is the total size of the LLFD library?
    A: The total library size is approximately 1.6 GB, including loops, one-shot samples, and the custom Kontakt ELA Drum Engine.

    Q: Can I trigger loops with MIDI?
    A: Yes, LLFD allows you to trigger loops directly via MIDI notes, giving you hands-on control and real-time performance capabilities.

    Q: How do I access my download if I lose it?
    A: Don't worry, your Native Instruments software is always accessible through Native Access. Here's how:

    1. Open Native Access: Launch the Native Access application on your computer.

    2. Log In: Ensure you're logged in with the same Native Instruments account you used to purchase or register the software.

    3. "Installed Products" or "Available Updates" Tab:

    4. If the product is already installed, it will appear in the "Installed products" tab.  

    5. If it is not installed, it will appear in the "Available updates" tab, or the "Not installed" tab.

    6. Reinstall or Download: From there, you can easily reinstall or re-download the software. Native Access manages the downloads and installations for you, so you don't need to worry about lost files.
